Oscar winners Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway star in writer/director Nancy Meyers’s new dramatic comedy “The Intern.” De Niro plays Ben, a retired widower who takes a job as a “Senior” intern at an online fashion site, founded and run by Jules Ostin (Hathaway).

Meyers’s films are known for immersing audiences in vibrant lifestyles with a distinct sense of place, so what better way to experience a day in the life of a New York City intern than through an insider’s “internship” in the city’s world-famous Garment District, which provided one of the film’s authentic backdrops.  This is an exclusive induction to the working fashion world of New York.

Partner with a NYC insider as you learn to style and shop for a catwalk-worthy look.  You will venture through the inner workings of the industry – touring through private showrooms not accessible to the general public and visiting the buildings where the hottest designers dream up next season’s looks.

Your home base will be the Refinery Hotel – a former 1920s millinery restored into a luxury boutique property.  Then, take a working lunch at the famous Bergdorf Goodman department store on 5th Avenue, alongside industry professionals enjoying the exquisite cuisine and sweeping 7th floor views of the city’s famous Central Park.
